Hello, about a year ago I was in a minor small car accident and at the time, I did not have car insurance due to money being tight and my car not working.  A friend of my husband's let us barrow his vehicle due to our car being broke down and it was in January when this happened and it was very cold at the time for my husband to really be able to try and work on our car, so my husband's friend was nice enough to let us barrow his car until we were able to get our's fixed and money was very tight for us, and I could not afford car ins. at the time so I had dropped it.  I was on my way to my work to go pick up my paycheck at my job's main office, while pulling into the parking lot, I accidentally hit the corner, tail end of our secretary's car and put a dent in the car and bumper by accident.  I told the secretary what happened and I explained to her my current car situation and told her that I did not have ins and that I did not know if the owner of the car I was barrowing, if he would have ins. and if it would even cover me.  I then called her later that evening explaining that I could not get a hold of the friend that is letting us barrow his vehicle, but I asked her if she could go out and atleast get 3 estimates done in the mean time and also asking her if she could go easy on me and depending on what the estimates come to, if I could make payments to her, she then said that she would talk to her husband about it and that she would call me back.  Also, when the accident first happened, I asked her if we should call the police, she said that we really dont need to.  So after I had spoke to her that evening, about an hour later, I was at work and received a phone call from the police departmant asking for me to contact her with my ins. information, I then called her and got her vm and left a nice message and just asking why she called the police 5 hrs after the accident and wanting my ins. info when I just explained to her at the site that I did not have ins. Anyways, I got a call back from her the next morning and she said that it would be best that we not talk to one another and let the ins. company handle this and I said ookay, and later in our conversation, she still kept rudely demanding for my ins. info. and I had to explain to her again, and then she twists it and says that I told her I had ins. I then told her that I told you from the begining that I didnt.  Anyways, an hour later, I get a call from her ins. company from a woman demanding my ins. info, i had to explain to her the situation, she then kept demanding for the info of the gentleman of the vehicle that I was driving, I said to her, let me speak to him first and did not give her any info without his consent.  Later that evening, I was able to get a hold of the gentleman and he said that he only has an SR22 bond, but he said he would talk to his company and see what he could do to help the girl and I gave him the girl's info and contact number and he called her and they talked and she said she would talk to her husband and call him back the next day, well she never called. I then called her ins company explaining to them the situation with the gentleman's ins.  A month went by and I never heard a thing from her ins. company or the girl at all.  I got a phone call from her ins. company and the lady I first spoke to in the begining says that I am unwilling to cooperate and somehow got the gentleman's info also and stated he is unwilling to cooperate too.  I then immediately called the company back and the lady had just left the office and I left a message with another person that works in the ins. office stating that we have cooperated to the fullest, the girl keeps saying that she wants no contact with me and I dont want to upset her by contacting her and she was supposed to make another contact with the gentleman, but she never called him back.  I then asked the ins. company if they will be able to fix her car and the lady says no because she only carries liability ins. and the lady from the ins. company asked me if I am able to fix her car and I said do you have any estimates, the ins. company says no and yet they never took any pictures, so it was basically out of their hands.  I then informed the ins company that the girl wanted no contact with me and I do not want to step on any toes, so if she still wants her car fixed, could you contact her for me and let her know that she can call me regarding this issue.  Long story short, 2 weeks went by and she never contacted me nor would return the calls to her ins. company. one week later, I got a phone call from the girl's husband, and he was not very cooperative with me, it later led to a week and a half worth of constant phone calls with him, he wouldnt get a third estimate, etc. it was a mess.  We then went to court over this and the judge found it in her favor, but left it up to me on how i wanted to do the payments, well now I am no longer working, lost my job, I owe them over 2 grand, the girl also had my license suspended indefinately, there is more to the phone call situation and the story goes on.  I am a mother of 2 young girls and I have been making payments to this girl but they have been small payments due to me not working and now I cant get a job due to me not having my license, I feel this girl did this out of spite because from the first time her husband made contact with me, he basically demanded the money upfront and I did not have it at the time and I cant understand why they waited for over a month to want to settle this?  I have proof and pictures of this and court papers, etc. to prove everything. I recently lost my home that I was trying to own, I lived there for 10yrs and lost it due to my job loss, I am now renting and I have no job, my husband is the only one working and his paychecks arent enough to support us and pay this girl off.  I am asking for any help just 2 grand to pay her back and get her off my back, there is more to this story, I am willing to share every detail.  If there is anyone out there willing to help me, it would so much be greatly appreciated.  Since this has happened, it has made a major impact on my life, this is the first time I have been through anything like this.  I am a good, honest person and have always had a good clean driving record up until this has happened, I dont drink, dont do drugs, so the money would go strictly to her so that way I can get my license back and get my life back and be able to get my girls to appts such as doctors, etc.  If there is anyone willing to help or give advice to point me in the right direction of what I can do, please feel free to contact me.  Thank you and god bless.
